Katie Cook Owner & Founder, yoga + meditation instructor
Katie Cook is the founder of Ebb & Flow Yoga and Wellness and a lifelong student of the practice. With over 17 years of experience, her classes blend traditional, structured sequencing with plenty of time to play and experiment with new poses—and bold, eclectic playlists to keep the energy moving and the vibes high.
Katie encourages students to slow down, go deeper, and explore their edges—offering time to practice arm balances, inversions, and advanced postures, while still keeping it accessible to all levels through modifications. She takes inspiration from teachers like Sri Dharma Mittra, whose wisdom and steady presence continue to influence her teaching and practice.
Her goal is for students to leave class feeling empowered, present, and inspired to carry their practice beyond the mat.
When off the mat, Katie is a mother of two, a lifelong educator, and the co-creator of a wellness space—dreaming up, building, and running Ebb & Flow with heart and intention.
TYlor Thigpen Owner & Founder
Tylor Thigpen is co-owner of Ebb & Flow and an essential part of the heart and soul of the studio. As Katie’s brother and business partner, he helped bring the vision for Ebb & Flow to life—from the physical buildout to the community that fills it. His own path into yoga and wellness came later in life, after navigating personal challenges and disconnection, and the practice became a powerful tool for healing and reconnection.
While he doesn’t teach classes (yet!), Tylor is a big part of the experience—welcoming members, helping shape the studio’s environment, and always down for a good conversation over tea in the lounge. His story is woven into the space, reminding everyone that growth, healing, and connection look different for each of us—and that you don’t have to fit a mold to belong here.

Sarah Anderson Yoga instructor
Sarah has been practicing yoga for nearly 15 years, falling in love with the practice after her very first class. What began as a personal journey has evolved into a deep passion for teaching. She’s trained in vinyasa, kundalini, and restorative yoga, and teaches with a grounded presence and thoughtful care.
Her classes offer a strong, steady flow with clear alignment cues, balanced by space to explore, open, and move authentically. She holds space for students to build trust in their bodies, connect to their own rhythms, and experience yoga as a path to deeper presence.
For Sarah, yoga is a practice of connection, compassion, and love. Her hope is that every student leaves class feeling more grounded in themselves and more attuned to their deepest truth.
She holds over 300 hours of yoga teacher training and has immersed herself in workshops on somatic healing, ritual, ceremony, and women’s work. Off the mat, she finds joy at the beach, dancing, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
eric ferrone Yoga instructor
Eric—but you can call him E—has been teaching yoga around Asbury since 2017. His approach is simple and down-to-earth: make yoga feel fun, accessible, and something everyone can enjoy.
Eric designs his classes to target all the major areas of the body so students leave feeling stronger, more flexible, and less stiff than when they walked in. You can expect good energy, some laughs, and an overall great vibe from start to finish.
When he’s not teaching, Eric is a financial planner who loves to skateboard, ski, and—after years as a drummer—is now learning to play the piano.
Catch him on the mat and get ready to move, breathe, and smile.
Tyesha hart Yoga instructor
Tyesha (or Tye!) found yoga right after high school, during a time when she was navigating depression and the transition from girlhood to womanhood. Yoga gave her a sense of security and a way to process life’s challenges—on the mat and beyond. It taught her how to breathe through discomfort, accept herself as she is, and carry those lessons home.
Tye’s classes reflect the kind of spaces that supported her most—where teachers laughed, sparked deep thought, and led with love rather than perfection. She aims to offer that same energy to her students, creating classes that give you full permission to take up space just as you are. She's not a super bendy, twisty yogi—and she’s proud of that. Her practice is strong, grounded, and deeply personal, and she invites her students to experience that same sense of self-discovery through movement.
You’ll leave her class feeling empowered, resilient, and reminded of your natural beauty. Her authenticity is palpable, and it inspires others to show up just as they are, too.
Fun fact: Tye loves to sing—so don’t be surprised if you hear her voice in class. When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her talking to her plants, soaking up the sun, or lost in a good book.
Aurora Foberg Yoga instructor
Aurora was drawn to yoga as a healing practice—and it quickly became a transformative part of her life. Inspired by its ability to connect mind, body, and soul, she’s now following her dream of deepening her own practice while helping others do the same.

Her classes blend intentional sequencing and breath-centered movement to support students of all levels in finding balance, inner calm, and connection.
When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find her hiking, surfing, or collecting seashells by the shore.
Roger reiss Yoga instructor
Roger came to yoga later in life, and it transformed how he moves through the world—on and off the mat. With roots in Dharma Yoga, his classes focus on breath, presence, and moving meditation, creating space for students of all levels to explore their practice at their own pace.
His all-level vinyasa classes offer a grounded, meditative flow with gentle reminders that it's your practice, not his. Expect long-held postures, time to turn inward, and an invitation to “do you.”
Off the mat, Roger’s usually in flip flops year round—spending time with his family, friends, and dogs, or enjoying the outdoors surfing, snowboarding, or hiking.
Michele Grossman Yoga instructor
Michele is an E-RYT 200 certified yoga teacher with a deep passion for the transformative power of yoga. Her journey began in 2003, and she completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2010. Michele’s classes are welcoming and accessible to all levels, blending structure and freedom in a way that encourages students to grow at their own pace. Whether teaching a strong Hot 26+2 or a flowing vinyasa class, she brings uplifting energy and a love of music that keeps the vibe light, empowering, and fun.
Expect to move with intention, breathe deeply, and leave class feeling stronger, more connected, and inspired.
jacK Harrison Yates Yoga instructor
Jack has spent the last five years fully immersed in the practice and study of yoga—physically, mentally, and spiritually. In that time, his mat has become a place of discipline, curiosity, and transformation, and his commitment to continued learning is at the heart of everything he shares.
Jack found his home in the local yoga community, and something clicked. What started as a daily practice quickly grew into a deeper exploration of meditation, spirituality, and the human experience. He draws inspiration from teachers like Ram Dass, Chögyam Trungpa, Alan Watts, Asha Nayaswami, and many others, blending wisdom from Hinduism, Buddhism, mysticism, and Native American ceremony into his worldview.
Jack completed his 200-hour teacher training with Lisa Broderick at Ohana Rising in Bradley Beach. His classes begin with grounding breathwork and meditation, ease into slow warmups, and build toward a mix of strong holds and dynamic flow—set to a soundtrack that spans blues, folk, ambient electronic, and even the occasional techno or drum and bass. Jack’s teaching is rooted in gratitude, mindfulness, and grounded alignment. His main goals? Keep you safe, keep it real, and make space for joy and laughter along the way.
He’s excited to share what he’s learned—and even more excited to keep learning, right alongside you.
James wujciak Yoga instructor
James first came to yoga in college to rehab an injury and boost his athletic performance—and stuck around for the mental reset it offered after long days on the lacrosse field.
Now working in the mental health field, James uses yoga to step back, breathe, and find a little clarity. His classes are strong, steady, and subtly packed with mental cues to help you tune in and build real self-trust.
Expect breath-led movement, thoughtful transitions, and reminders that you’re in charge—free to push, pause, or play, depending on what you need. James brings the same focus and balance to the mat that he relies on in his own life—whether he's surfing, lifting, rock climbing, or training beach lifeguards in the summer.
Think strength, presence, and a healthy dose of humor and heart.
